YMCA Volunteer Development Program

A 150-year history is a proud legacy for any organization, and the YMCA in Canada has this history. It is not because of a building that has withstood time, but due to the efforts of people.

The YMCA provides development opportunities for everyone. We welcome your interest in becoming a leader in our community, through your volunteer involvement with the YMCA. Your talents are welcome in activities such as our program and service areas, committee work, fund raising, and special events.

We welcome the opportunity to help you develop your skills in a particular area. Volunteer applications are available at the Member Service Desk. An interview and screening process will be arranged to discuss your interests and determine a placement.
