At YMCA Camp Kitchi we are very proud of our history
and reputation of providing quality residential camping
programs since 1919. The Kitchi tradition is strengthened
each summer as over 600 children participate in a memorable
camping experience. The Four Pillars of camp are
: creative arts, sailing, aboriginal and outdoor education.
Our programs facilitate personal growth, challenge campers
to learn about themselves and others and promote acceptance
among participants. We hope you will join us this summer
on Kitchi sands for the experience of a lifetime.
Kitchi's supportive community ensures safety and ultimate
care for your child. Our commitment to the camper and
parent goes beyond providing quality programs. At Kitchi:
Campers feel secure that they are with people who
sincerely care and truly listen
Each camper is unique and truly important
Kitchi enhances children's self esteem by providing
opportunities for campers to succeed
Campers are encouraged to try new skills that build
self-confidence
