YMCA Peace of Art Contest
What is it?
The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka is committed to building peaceful communities both locally and globally.
In celebration of YMCA International Peace Week the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka is inviting Art work submissions of all kinds.
Each submission should represent the artist’s interpretation of
“Inspiring Peace”
Lots of Exciting Prizes to be Won!
All artwork submissions will be
displayed at your local YMCA, and
at various Peace Week Special Events throughout November.
Entry Rules and Conditions:
- People of all ages are eligible to participate.
- All mediums are welcome; however art work must be easily transportable.
- The YMCA is not responsible for the loss or damage of any art work submitted.
- Full name, age (day, month, and year), full address including phone and e-mail and a description of the art work must be included with each submission.
- All art work should represent the artists interpretation of: ‘Inspiring Peace - Think it, Say it, Do it’
- All submissions become the property of the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka and maybe used at future events to further promote the message of Peace
- Please submit original pieces of art (E-mail entries will only be accepted after hard copy is received.) to your local YMCA
Deadline:
All entries must be received by November 2, 2009.
