The Science Camp Supervisor will lead a staff team in the delivery quality, hands-on, fun and entertaining science experiences for children (aged 4-14) across Northeastern Ontario from mid-June to late August (possibility of earlier start in Sudbury). The supervisor will coordinate all program requirements, ensure the physical and emotional safety of all camp participants, work with a diverse group of children, communicate with parents, supervise and support a staff team and resolve program challenges.
Interested candidates must have excellent supervisory skills, outstanding communication abilities, demonstrated experience working with children and a passion for learning. Being a resident of the respective city of program delivery is an asset. Candidates should understand and commit to promoting equal opportunity and support for all campers regardless of ability.

Some positions may require fluency in both English and French. Travel may be required (accommodations, weekly travel bonus and a meal per diem covered by Science North). Successful candidates must be prepared to submit a current (less than 3 months old at date of submission) Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check, a valid driver’s license reflecting a 3 year safe driving record and current First Aid certification. Candidates should be willing to work full-time over the period of mid-June to end of August, nothing that hours availability would be dependent on final enrollment.
The position(s) will primarily be based in the following communities Barrie, Midland, North Bay, Pembroke, Sault Ste. Marie and Sudbury with travel and delivery in various other communities around Northern Ontario.

Now Hiring: Automotive Technician – Parry Sound, ON
We are currently seeking an Automotive Technician to join our service team at Bourgeois Ford North. While a Licensed 310S Technician is preferred, we are also open to apprentices who are motivated, eager to learn, and ready to grow their skills in a supportive, experienced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and maintenance, solid mechanical knowledge, and be comfortable working with a range of tools and diagnostic equipment.
Responsibilities:
Perform repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on all makes and models
Use hand tools, power tools, and schematics to complete tasks efficiently
Inspect vehicles and provide accurate mechanical assessments
Ensure all work meets safety and regulatory standards
Experience & Qualifications:
Licensed 310S Technician is preferred; apprentices will also be considered
Previous Ford experience is an asset
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
Strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostics
Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting
Familiarity with assembling and disassembling vehicle components
What We Offer:
Wage range: $70,000–$110,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications – not guaranteed)
8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday — no weekends
