We’re looking for a dependable, experienced Animal & Livestock Caretaker to support daily care for our outdoor-living herd. You’ll work with goats, pigs, sheep, cattle (including horned breeds), alpacas, horses, and more-supporting animal routines, training, and safety for camps, tours, and school visits.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist with daily care: feeding, watering, health checks
-Clean and maintain paddocks, shelters, and gates
-Support training and prep for public-facing programs
-Follow welfare protocols and maintain high presentation standards
-Work outdoors year-round; assist in emergencies or on-call situations
What You Bring:
-2–3+ years of hands-on livestock experience (not just horses or pets)
-Comfortable around large and assertive animals
-Physically strong, detail-oriented, and weather-resilient
-Confident with animals and public interaction (especially children)
-Valid G license, reliable transportation, and clear criminal record
-Willing to work early mornings, weekends, holidays
-Horse handling is a plus- but not the focus of the role
Bonus Skills:
-Experience on guest-facing or educational farms
-Livestock enrichment or public desensitization techniques
-Carpentry, fencing, or light equipment operation
-First Aid (animal or human)

positive, professional farm experience.
