Construction Laborer

Job Description:
Come join our team! We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to support various renovation projects. The successful candidate will work alongside a skilled carpenter to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.

This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry
while developing valuable skills. It is physically demanding and may require working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
We believe every team member is essential to our success. As a Construction Laborer,
you’ll play a key role in bringing projects to life while maintaining a safe, efficient, and
high-quality job site.

● Assist with site setup, ensuring work areas are tidy, organized, and free of debris.
● Load and unload construction materials and equipment, handling them safely and efficiently.
● Operate and maintain various hand and power tools, such as drills, saws, and compressors.
● Follow instructions to complete tasks to the required standard.
● Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
● Mix and pour concrete, ensuring the correct consistency and application.
● Erect and dismantle scaffolding and other temporary structures.
● Assist with the installation of siding, trim, doors, windows, flooring, and other building materials.

Requirements:
● Must have own transportation.
● Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
● Previous experience in construction or a related field is an asset but not required.
● Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, working at heights, carrying materials, and prolonged digging/trenching.
● Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
● Punctual, reliable, and willing to learn.
● Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
● Good communication skills and the ability to understand and follow directions.
