Event Staff/Deck Hand

Position Description:
We are looking to hire an Event Staff/Deck Hand to provide excellent customer service and interact
professionally with the public at all times. This position is part-time, seasonal offering 8-20 hours/week. Candidates must be flexible with their schedule and available to work days and evenings, weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities:
· Work the onboard concession stand, including serving at a full-service bar
· Participate in various food service styles (buffet, plated, hors d’oeuvres) depending on the cruise type
· Assist with set-up, organization, and clean-up of food and beverage service areas
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of all guest areas, including washrooms, decks, and seating
· Support boarding and disembarking of guests; provide assistance as needed
· Follow all safety procedures and assist with general passenger safety onboard
· Monitor guest needs during the cruise and respond promptly to requests or concerns
· Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
· Assist with general deck duties as required (e.g. lines, docking assistance, setup)
· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or the captain

Smart Serve (required)
Safe Food Handling (Asset)
