Boat Rental Attendant

• Organizing rental reservation calendar
• Obtaining information for securing reservations in person, telephone or email Completing rental contracts using computer program
• Ensuring lessee is familiar with the boating rules and provides temporary licence if necessary.
• On-water demonstrations with the boat and “circle checks” with the customer
• Processing deposits, pre-authorizations and processing final payments.
• Providing service manager with boat rental delivery/pick up times and dates.
• Boat is cleaned and ready to go for the next boat rental.
• Reports all damage to manager.
• Assists peers with boat cleaning and fueling boats.
• Maintain dock area and marina facility ie. emptying garbage and recycling, maintaining a clean environment around the property and inside the showroom, watering outdoor garden/flowers
• Has successfully completed the course for the Pleasure Craft Operators Card (PCOC)
• There is a mandatory requirement for the student to be 16 in order to refuel boats under the Technical Standards & Safety Authority Act.
• Count cash and balance cash register at the end of each shift.
• Wage: $18.50-$20.00 per hour (Expected hours: 40 per week.)
