Reporting to our HR Director, your role will provide administrative support, assist with safety and compliance documentation and coordination, maintain accurate employee records, and ensure smooth communication between employees and the HR team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values confidentiality, and enjoys a variety of HR-related tasks.
Areas of responsibility include:
- Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and HR Director.
- Maintain and organize electronic HR and Safety files and forms.
- Coordinate the ordering and inventory of office and safety supplies, including apparel.
- Assist payroll with employee inquiries and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare and maintain Safety Boards and site requirement packages.
- Coordinate site inspections.
- Administer SiteDocs, including set-up and maintenance of new employee profiles.
- Direct employee inquiries to the appropriate HR or management contact.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring required forms and documentation are complete.
- Assist with HR data entry, tracking training certifications, and updating employee information.
- Participate in organizing employee engagement activities and recognition initiatives.
- Administration of HRIS system.
Skills/Competencies Required
- Ethical, respectful, responsible and accountable
- College diploma or above with specialty in HR Administration
- 2-3 yrs HR experience
- Proficient with MS Outlook and Excel
- Oral and written communication skills
- Self starter
- Ability to enter and report information accurately
- Ability to work in an organized manner
- Ability to innovate and learn new skills
- Experience with HRIS systems in general is an asset
- Experience in the residential construction industry an asset

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
