DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to):
• Responsible for the set-up, continual operation and flow of incoming raw material to the process and
shutdown of molding systems, cell start up, tool and color change overs
• Operate injection molding machines according to production specifications.
• Ensure proper packaging and disposition of finished parts
• Provide support for cell operation through breaks
• Troubleshoot and document machine, mold and automation and part quality issues
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks as required
• Inspect molded parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Recommend, participate in, and monitor continuous improvement and proactive initiatives including
department CIS projects
• Process optimization for efficiency, product quality and waste reduction to meet cell KPI’s
• Complete daily reporting, audits, work assignments and schedules and communicate these with
expectations to prior and oncoming shifts
• Review production processes and maintain required documentation
• Ensure all job functions adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations
• Lead, oversee and provide technical or functional support to operators, oversee new hire evaluations and
training while up upholding 5S principles and quality standards
