Landscaping Specialist

A G licence is required with experience of driving a truck with a trailer.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Responsible for the cultivation and care of the landscaping grounds
· Plant flowers, mow, pull weeds, and maintain outside of building
· Perform groundskeeping and building maintenance duties
· Mow lawn using a riding lawnmower
· Trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls
· Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes
· Apply fertilizer to ground to enhance growth
· Perform routine maintenance duties
· Sweep walkway of debris
· Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger
· Trim shrubs and pull weeds
· Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping
· Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed

Please note this is a seasonal job from mid April to mid October. But can be moved to other departments during off season.

Schedule: 3 to 4 days per week (during Monday to Friday)
Salary: $20 to $21 per hour
