Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. Locations include:

Hindson Marina (Penetang, ON)

Killbear Marina (Nobel, ON)

Wright’s Marina (Britt, ON)

The ideal candidates will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in using both hand and power tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Duties

• Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on repairs.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in mechanics or related fields are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 44 per week

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay
• Signing bonus

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
