The Ironworker in Pointe au Baril is hiring!

Location: Pointe au Baril, ON (on-site – must have own transportation)
Wage: $43.00/hour
Hours: 41.5 hours/week | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
• Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
• Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC)

Experience and specialization

Type of materials

• Aluminum alloys
• Non-ferrous materials
• Stainless steel
• Steel, iron and heavy metals

Welding techniques

• Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
• Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG)
• Gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
• Flux core arc welding (FCAW)

Equipment and machinery experience

• Arc welding machine
• Gas welding machine

Must provide own steel-toed safety shoes and welding helmet.
