Winter Snow Shoveler – Seasonal / On-Call

We are currently hiring Winter Snow Shovelers for the 2025–2026 snow season in Port Carling, Ontario. This is a weather-dependent, on-call position requiring availability during snow events, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical outdoor work and are looking for seasonal employment during the winter months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manually remove snow from driveways, walkways, stairs, and other areas as assigned
• Operate snow shovels and hand tools in a safe and effective manner
• Apply ice melt or sand as required
• Ensure timely completion of routes, often in early morning hours
• Communicate with supervisor for updates and instructions

Requirements:

• Physically fit – able to lift, bend, and perform repetitive movements in cold weather
• Must be able to work as early as 5:00 a.m., often with little notice
• Available on weekends and holidays during snow events
• Reliable transportation to company shop in Port Carling
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Previous snow removal experience is an asset but not required
