Pest Control Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role involves inspecting, treating, and preventing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. This position offers an opportunity to develop specialized skills in pest management while contributing to the health and safety of our clients.

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and entry points
• Apply appropriate pest control treatments using various tools and chemicals following safety protocols
• Educate clients on pest prevention methods and recommend ongoing maintenance plans
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed for treatment applications
• Maintain accurate records of treatments performed and follow-up schedules
• Assist in inventory management of pest control supplies and equipment
• Adhere to all safety regulations and environmental guidelines during service delivery

Experience

• Previous experience in pest control.
• Familiarity with sales techniques to effectively communicate service benefits to clients is preferred
• Experience with using hand tools, power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for diagnosing pest issues accurately
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a field-based environment

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
