Funds raised through a YMCA Gala stay local, supporting YMCA programs and services that remove barriers and ensure everyone has the opportunity to belong, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Your generosity helps children discover confidence through swimming lessons, empowers young people to develop leadership skills and find safe spaces to grow, supports families during life’s most challenging moments, and enables older adults to remain active, connected, and independent. It also provides access to health and wellness programs, community services, employment support, and financial assistance for individuals and families who otherwise could not participate.
The impact reaches far beyond a single evening. It means a child learns to swim. A teenager discovers their potential as a leader. A parent finds community and support. A newcomer gains meaningful employment. An older adult finds connection instead of isolation.

Adam Growe has become a familiar face as the host of Cash Cab now in its 10th Season. A professional comedian and host/MC, Adam performs at events, conferences and theatres, and has met the growing demand for hybrid event entertainment and interactive content.
As the host of The Magic of Giving, Adam Growe brings the same quick wit, professionalism and audience engagement that have made him a standout on stage and screen. With years of experience entertaining crowds of all sizes, he knows how to keep the evening moving seamlessly while creating memorable moments that connect with guests.

What does my ticket get me?
This is an 18+ event.
Have a magically good time while you are seated at half-round tables of SIX that give you the best view of our ongoing entertainment and story sharing - with Host, Adam Growe, you will be in awe of the splendor that awaits. Admission includes a Silent Auction, a 3-course dinner, live mystical entertainment, a top-shelf cash bar and much more!
Enjoy late-night savoury bites and bring your dancing shoes for our live music performed by Avery Raquel
Do I get a tax receipt with my ticket?
Tickets are not tax-deductible, as they are considered a purchase rather than a pure donation. Guests receive value in return for their contribution through the event experience, including entertainment, drinks, and other event elements.
What should I wear?
Our theme this year is Magic of Giving, while the dress code is Cocktail Attire we welcome you to be creative, should you wish!
Can I refund my ticket if I can't go?
All tickets are final sale, however, they are transferable. If you would like to transfer your ticket, please email [email protected] to submit your request.
Where is the venue?
Our Gala will be held at the Blue Mountain Village conference centre, located at 242 Jozo Weider Blvd, The Blue Mountains, ON L9Y 3Z2. Please view directions here.
We acknowledge the Traditional Territory of the Anishinabek Nation: The People of the Three Fires known as Ojibway (Chippewas), Odawa, and Potawatomi Nations. Blue Mountain is located within the boundary of Treaty 18 region of 1818 and we give thanks to the Chippewas of Saugeen, and the Chippewas of Nawash, now known as the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, as the traditional keepers of this land.
Over 500 years ago, the First Nations welcomed us to share this land now called Ontario. We are grateful to explore and play on Blue Mountain and thank all those who were and are caretakers of this beautiful area. We are also mindful of the broken covenants and the need to reconcile with all our allies and relations.
Let us listen, discover, and care for this land by learning from our mutual history. As benefactors of thousands of years of Indigenous stewardship, we are privileged to share the beauty of Blue Mountain and are responsible for ensuring its sustainability for generations to come. This acknowledgment was written with an understanding that we are still learning. Thank you for your support, patience and willingness to learn and grow with us.
Are we able to spend the night at Blue Mountain?
Absolutely, there is a block of Village rooms designated for our Gala Guests. The cost of the rooms is $189.00 + applicable fees and taxes. This price is for a Bachelor or Studio (subject to availability).
Please quote the group name YMCA Spotlight Gala 2026 when making the reservation to obtain the negotiated group rate. Reservations can be made online.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at 4:30pm to begin the evening with our cocktail reception. Dinner begins at 6:00pm.
