Young or old, volunteers at the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskokacontinually display an eagerness to step up, offer themselves in whatever capacity needed, and make the YMCA experience a memorable one for everyone. The volunteer spirit is truly the backbone of the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka.We are grateful to have such an active, dedicated group of over 1,200 individuals who willingly go beyond what’s expected to enhance our community. These volunteers are leading classes so others can become healthier, teaching children new skills, helping newcomers feel at home, fundraising to help families in their neighbourhood, and more.Please take some time, today and everyday, to thank a volunteer!
