Our YMCA Youth Services team is committed to helping you succeed in every aspect of your journey—whether that’s in school, at home, in the community, or as you plan for your future. We believe every young person has unique strengths, talents, and dreams, and our role is to help you discover and build on them.

Through mentorship, skill-building programs, educational support, leadership opportunities, and a safe, welcoming environment, we work alongside you to remove barriers, celebrate achievements, and prepare you for life’s next steps. I am a Facilitator with the Youth Quest Employment Program, which works to help young people gain employment skills and meaningful employment experience in their communities.

My name is Ash Fahey. My pronouns are They/Them/She/Her and I’m the Alliston Lead Facilitator for the Youth Quest program here at Youth Services. Youth Quest is a 20 week program that supports young adults between the ages of 15-29 find employment in the communities across Simcoe County. I believe that when we give young people the tools to succeed and achieve their dreams, our community becomes a better and brighter space because of it!

I am passionate about helping others and happy to be part of a team that believes in supporting, empowering and encouraging young people to reach their goals through learning new skills and aiding them with the tools to help overcome barriers in their life.

I am a Youth Outreach Worker at YMCA Youth Services. I support youth in finding healthy perceptions of themselves by exploring their strengths and setting goals as well as supporting them through life skills and reintegrating them into society.

Youth In Transition Worker

I am a Youth Outreach Worker supporting the Youth in Transition Program. I offer a client centered approach tailored to your goals and needs. The Youth in Transition Program is geared towards supporting youth between ages 16-24 successfully transition into adulthood. I aim to help youth develop the skills and gain the tools needed to reach their full potential and thrive in adulthood.

I work with a very dedicated and committed team to provide young people in our community with the tools they need to achieve their employment goals. I believe that connecting youth to meaningful experience and empowering them to reach their potential helps us build a much stronger and well connected community where everyone belongs.
