Lifeguard

Reporting to the Enrichment Manager/ Supervisor, Lifeguards are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests while performing all the duties associated with being a Lifeguards according to the training provided.

Requirements
-Completion of JW Marriott the Rosseau Muskoka HR Departmental training and Enrichment Training and be the holder of a current lifeguard certificate; the National Lifeguard Service’s certificate (dated 2 years or less).

Accountabilities
-Guard life.
-Read the white board and attend stand-up meetings before starting the shift.
-Opening and closing duties as required.
-Be aware of the pool hours and rules/ gently enforce.
-Fill out pool log and incident reports as required.
-Assist the pool attendant when required and if possible.
-Replace towels on loungers when needed.
-Regularly offer fresh towels to guests and take away the wet towels
-Following the departmental policies.
-Being aware of and following the internal practices (BSA, GSS, Daily Rehearsal, Significance of 9.30 meeting and Intermission)
