How We Help

Our settlement staff team assists newcomers to Canada to settle and adapt to life in Barrie and throughout Simcoe County through the following services:

  • Assistance with completing forms and applications
  • Providing information on social services, schools, health care, housing, and recreational programs
  • Guidance and advice to help newcomers navigate community life and access available supports
  • Referrals to educational, government, employment and community resources
  • Referrals to appropriate agencies for immigration and legal support services
