At YMCA Summer Day Camps, kids aged 6-12 will enjoy a variety of exciting programs designed to keep them active, curious, and engaged. From arts and crafts to sports, outdoor exploration, and teamwork activities, there’s something for every child to love!
Our camps not only provide endless summer fun but also a safe and inclusive environment where every child can grow, thrive, and make lasting friendships.

Outdoor Variety Camp at Earl Rowe Provincial Park –
Arts Camp at Earl Rowe Provincial Park –
Campers will dedicate the first half of the day to exploring their creativity through a range of artistic mediums, guided by our experienced staff! In addition to this program they will partake in an assortment of classic camp activities to enhance their experience.
Science Camp at Earl Rowe Provincial Park –
Campers will develop an understanding and appreciation of science through participation, experiments and projects related to movement, construction and chemical reactions. To compliment this program, campers will participate in a variety of traditional camp activities.
Outdoor Explorers at Earl Rowe Provincial Park –
Your nature enthusiasts will spend the week exploring nature through daily hikes, plant and vegetation identification, animal tracking, shelter building, and learning how to be a nature explorer while respecting wildlife and our beautiful forests. Nature enthusiasts will end the week by testing their nature survival skills and receive a nature explorer YMCA badge. Nature enthusiasts will have the opportunity to partake in traditional camp activities.
Barrie & Orillia
Youth Changemakers Leadership Institute (ages 9-14) –
The Youth Changemaker Leadership Institute is a dynamic one-week program designed to inspire and equip youth aged 9-14 (grades 5-8) with the tools to create meaningful change in their communities. In this transformative opportunity, youth will have the opportunity to co-design ideas for green, sustainable, peaceful, and just futures.
YMCA facilitators will encourage students to envision, create and enact initiatives and programs that tackle a community problem like homelessness, poverty, hunger, mental health, physical health, social isolation, environmental sustainability to increase the well-being of our communities. Students will use their voice, critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills to initiate change through a genuine desire to make a difference.
- Orillia – Week 2 (July 21 to 25, 2025), 9:00am – 4:00pm – 825 Memorial Ave., Orillia (Georgian College – Orillia)

Outdoor Variety Camp at Bass Lake Provincial Park –
Campers will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of fun activities and develop their love of nature at Bass Lake Provincial Park! Activities will include hiking, teambuilding, canoeing, arts and crafts, and daily swimming at the Provincial Park.
Science Camp at Bass Lake Provincial Park –
Campers will develop an understanding and appreciation of science through participation, experiments and projects related to movement, construction and chemical reactions. To compliment this program, campers will participate in a variety of traditional camp activities.

Science Camp at Lakehead University –
Campers will develop an understanding and appreciation of science through participation, experiments and projects related to movement, construction and chemical reactions. To compliment this program, campers will participate in a variety of traditional camp activities.
Multi Sports Camp at Lakehead University –
Campers will develop the fundamental skills needed to play a variety of sports including soccer, ball hockey, ultimate frisbee, and more! Emphasis on teamwork, fitness, fair play, and fun!
Counselor in Training at Lakehead University –
Counselor in Training is a three-week youth leadership program that focuses on developing the skills required to become a day camp counselor. Participants will learn about program planning and working with campers in an interactive environment. Participants will also get the opportunity to do a supervised practical placement in one of our YMCA Summer Day Camps!
Bradford & Innisfil
Outdoor Variety Camp at Scanlon Creek Conservation Area –
Day Camp offers campers opportunities to have new experiences, build skills, and make lasting friendships. Campers will participate in a wide variety of activities including sports and games, arts and crafts, and daily exploration of the natural conservation area.
Multi Sports Camp at the Innisfil YMCA (6-8) –
Campers will develop the fundamental skills needed to play a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, ultimate frisbee, and more. Emphasis on teamwork, fitness, fair play, and fun!
Science Camp at the Innisfil YMCA (6-8) –
Campers will develop an understanding and appreciation of science through participation, experiments and projects related to movement, construction and chemical reactions. To compliment this program, campers will participate in a variety of traditional camp activities.

Campers will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of fun activities while fostering their appreciation for nature! The program will feature sports and games, arts and crafts, as well as daily explorations of the stunning and historically rich fairgrounds!

Parry Sound
Variety Camp at Parry Sound Public School –
Day Camp offers campers opportunities to have new experiences, build skills, and make lasting friendships. Campers will participate in a wide variety of activities including sports and games, arts and crafts, daily swimming, and much more! Campers will have the opportunity to go off site to Waubuno beach for a day of exploration and swimming.
Wasaga Beach
Variety Camp at the Wasaga Beach YMCA –
Day Camp offers campers opportunities to have new experiences, build skills, and make lasting friendships. Campers will participate in a wide variety of activities including sports and games, arts and crafts, daily swimming, and much more!
Arts Camp at the Wasaga Beach YMCA –

Day Camp and Bus Stop Locations
Inclusion Camp Program (6-12 years old)
The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka is committed to working with families to support campers with special needs, whether developmental, physical, cognitive, emotional or behavioural. Inclusion Camp is facilitated by our inclusion counsellors who are youth with at least 1 year of experience working with children. They receive YMCA training and are not licensed professionals. Please note we do not offer personal care and campers should be able to use the toilet by themselves and dress and change themselves independently.
The Inclusion Camp program is located on the far left side of the Day Camp program registration page in the YMCA Online Portal. When submitting your camp registration, please select your desired program and a member of the YMCA staff team will connect with you this spring to discuss inclusion supports and confirm your spot.
Day Camp Refunds and Cancellations
Requests for refunds of paid camp fees must be made at least 14 days prior to the camp week commencing in order for a refund to be considered. Cancellation requests made less than 14 days prior to the camp week must have an attached medical note in order to obtain a refund. Please note, there is a $25 deposit per week nonrefundable charge at the time of registration.
Financial Assistance
As a community-building charity, the YMCA is committed to reducing financial barriers and making camp accessible to all.
The Children’s Services Division of the County of Simcoe, the District of Muskoka and the District of Parry Sound provides child care subsidies to eligible families. The YMCA has secured purchase of service agreements allowing children to attend YMCA Child Care and Day Camp programs with the aid of subsidies. In order to apply for the subsidies, parents/guardians must be working, attending school or fulfilling a participation agreement with Ontario Works.

The YMCA also offers Financial Assistance through an application on the YMCA Online Portal. The YMCA Financial Assistance Program is funded through our YMCA Annual Campaign by individual donors, service clubs and businesses, ensuring affordable access for individuals or families who face financial barriers to joining our programs and services.
