- Innisfil YMCA Day Camps
The Innisfil YMCA is a community health, fitness, and aquatics centre featuring a swimming pool and gymnasium. The main day camp area is located on the West side of the YMCA building and includes field space, and access to a hiking trail nearby. Campers will spend the majority of their day outside and access the YMCA for daily swimming.
Drop-off & Pick-up
Drop off and pick up takes place outside the Innisfil YMCA on the west side of the building, near the soccer fields. You are best to park in the parking lot to the south of the YMCA and then look for campers and staff gathering outside on the west side of the building.
Extended Care
Extended care at the Innisfil YMCA runs from 7:30 am to 9:00 am and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. This is a registered service with an additional fee. Please review your registration to confirm if you are registered.

Preparing for camp at the
Innisfil YMCA
Whether your child is an experienced camper or it is their first camp experience, it is always helpful to know what they can expect at your camp location this summer!
Camper Information
To ensure we can contact you if required, your YMCA Online Portal profile must be up to date with phone numbers and emergency contacts/authorized persons for pick up. Also, all required camp forms must be completed before your child participates.
YMCA Values
At YMCA Day Camp, our community is built upon the values of kindness, integrity, inclusiveness, respect and optimism. The YMCA values are guiding principles at the heart of everything we do. We ask that every member of our camp community embrace these values each day to create a sense of belonging and an enriching environment for everyone.
We look forward to a fantastic summer with your child!
Swimming
Your child will swim every day at summer camp. Please send your camper with their bathing suit, a towel, and preferably a bag for wet swim gear. Campers can bring their own goggles for swimming, but neither day camp nor the YMCA are liable for any lost items. Swim assessments will be completed by our Certified Lifeguards to determine swimmer abilities and access to the deep end of our pool. Lifejackets are available for those campers that require them.
Contacting Us After-hours
Day Camp staff work between the hours of 8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Following provincial legislation and in keeping with our values, the YMCA is committed to supporting the wellbeing of employees. Our Disconnecting From Work Policy is intended to support work/life balance and staff wellbeing by ensuring that employees have the right to disconnect from their work outside of their scheduled hours.
If you have urgent concerns after hours, you can reach out to our Community Care Team between 6 am and 7 pm by phone, 705-792-7822 or email, [email protected].
Lost & Found
All lost and found items will be held at camp until the end of each month. Where possible, found items will be displayed at sign out for parents and guardians to see. If your camper is picked up at a bus stop, please provide the bus counsellor with a detailed list of any items you believe may be in the lost and found.
In order to reduce lost and found we ask that you label all of your camper’s items. Custom labels can be ordered from: camps.mabelslabels.com. If you type ‘YMCA Simcoe/Muskoka Day Camp’ in the search bar before shopping a small portion of the cost will be donated to our campership fund.
Other Camp Information
Please be aware that we DO NOT provide food for campers. Campers should bring a nutritious and nut free lunch to camp, along with snacks for the morning and afternoon.
Campers at Innisfil will spend their day outdoors, except when swimming. Please ensure your camper has what they need to be safe and happy at camp (re-fillable water bottle, sunscreen, nutritious nut-free lunch, hat, rain jacket, etc.)
