Our YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka Before and After School Care program offers a safe and welcoming environment for your child outside of regular school hours. With dedicated educators and engaging activities, your child will have the opportunity to learn, play, and grow in a supportive setting that encourages both social and personal development.

Kindergarten

3.8 to 5 years
  • Ratio is 1 staff to 13 kindergarten children.
  • The program includes opportunities to continue learning as an extension of kindergarten topics, exploring the indoors and outdoors, creating with the arts (visual, dramatic and music), discovering science, engaging in mathematics and literacy activities, developing social skills, gross and fine motor skills and problem solving.

School Age

6 to 12 years
  • Ratio is 1 staff to 15 school agers
  • Program includes: a variety of different activities that match the group’s interests, healthy indoor and outdoor activities
  • Follows the YMCA A Place to Connect™ curriculum
  • Full day school age programs and camps are available during school holidays and PA days
